40 Years of Rings.
One Relentless Standard.
Ringmann Inc. (1985) · Ringmann (1995) · RGPL (2025) — three names, one unbroken commitment to precision spinning rings and the mills that depend on them.
Our Story
The RGPL story has three chapters. In 1985, B. A. Nath established Ringmann Inc. in Coimbatore — offering ring refurbishment services to the city's mills, built on eight years of hands-on industry knowledge from Bombay Ring Travellers (BRT). In 1995, he founded Ringmann as a manufacturing entity and became the first company in India to produce spinning rings on CNC machines. In 2025, Ringmann Global Private Limited (RGPL) was registered — formalising four decades of precision manufacturing into a global brand.
In 1995, Ringmann made history: becoming the first company in India to manufacture spinning rings on CNC machines. Until then, every Indian ring maker used conventional lathes. The shift to CNC delivered a step-change in ovality consistency, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality — numbers that Swiss and German competitors had achieved only through decades of investment.
Since spinning rings are a critical part of the Ring Frame and play a central role in yarn quality, we have maintained stringent control through constant research and development. As a further milestone, we introduced Hard Chrome Plated rings for the first time in India — first exhibited at ITME-2000 in Mumbai. This was the start of a product evolution: Sterling Ring (2007) → Sterling-Sigma Ring (2011) → EXCEL Ring (2015) → SIGMA-EXCEL (2019).
Over four decades, RGPL rings have found their way into spinning mills across approximately 20 countries on 5 continents — from India and South-East Asia to the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Every export order has been earned on the same basis as the first: consistent quality, direct manufacturer pricing, and rings that perform.
In 2025, we registered Ringmann Global Private Limited (RGPL) — reflecting four decades of manufacturing excellence and a clear global ambition.

The Founders
A combined lifetime in the spinning industry — from the compound of a spinning mill in Andhra Pradesh to the factory floors of Coimbatore.

Bezzala Ahobilanath
B. A. Nath
Born in 1953 inside the compound of Yemmiganur Spinning Mills, Yemmiganur, Andhra Pradesh — Nath grew up immersed in the world of textile spinning from his very first years. A native Telugu speaker, he completed his BCom from a college in Adoni, affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
In 1977 he joined Bombay Ring Travellers (BRT) in Bombay — a leading manufacturer of textile travellers — and spent eight years learning the industry inside out: traveller metallurgy, machine behaviour, mill requirements, and the economics of spinning consumables.
When he left BRT in 1985 to start his own venture in Coimbatore, he made a deliberate choice: rings, not travellers. Having been trained by BRT in the traveller business, he felt it would be ethically wrong to compete with them using the very knowledge they had given him. Spinning rings — the companion component — was the natural, principled alternative.
Starting with ring refurbishment (Ringmann Inc., 1985) and moving to CNC-based ring manufacturing (Ringmann, 1995 — a first in India), he built the company from the ground up. Over four decades immersed in every dimension of ring technology — metallurgy, heat treatment, surface coating, traveller dynamics, and mill application — Nath has developed a rare and encyclopedic mastery of the spinning ring: how it behaves at speed, how it wears, what a mill needs, and how to manufacture it right. He is, in the truest sense, a master of the ring.

Saraswathi Bezzala
Saraswathi Bezzala
Born in Bhopal into a native Telugu-speaking family, Saraswathi moved to Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh at the age of 8 — where she completed her schooling and her BSc in Botany from a college in Nandyal, affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
Married to B. A. Nath in 1981, she moved with him to Coimbatore in 1985 and became a hands-on partner in building Ringmann from the ground up — beginning with final ring inspection, where she developed a trained eye for dimensional and surface quality.
In 2000, she served as Management Representative when Ringmann achieved BS EN ISO 9002:1994 certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) — making Ringmann the first ring manufacturer in India to receive this recognition. She coordinated the entire quality system implementation that earned the certification.
She is a Director of Ringmann Global Private Limited, bringing four decades of operational experience and an unwavering commitment to quality.

40 Years of Milestones
Ringmann Inc. — The Story Begins
B. A. Nath, drawing on 8 years at Bombay Ring Travellers (BRT) — India's leading traveller maker — moves to Coimbatore and establishes Ringmann Inc., offering precision ring refurbishment services to the city's booming textile mills. The knowledge of how rings behave, wear, and fail, gained at the mill floor, would shape everything that followed.
Ringmann — Manufacturing Begins, A First in India
B. A. Nath founds Ringmann as a manufacturing entity and becomes the first company in India to manufacture precision spinning rings on CNC machines. Until 1995, every Indian ring maker used conventional lathes. CNC brought a step-change in ovality, dimensional accuracy, and surface consistency that no lathe-based operation could match.
First ITME Participation
Ringmann participates in ITME-India 1996, gaining national recognition and connecting with major spinning mills across India.
ISO Certified · Hard Chrome Plated Rings · BLACK DIAMOND
A landmark year: Ringmann becomes the first ring manufacturer in India to achieve BS EN ISO 9002:1994 certification (LRQA, Certificate No. I 60473, December 2000). Hard Chrome Plated rings are introduced in India for the first time, and the rust-preventive BLACK DIAMOND ring debuts at ITME-2000, Mumbai — laying the foundation for the product evolution that would follow.
International Stage — ITMA Birmingham
First major international exhibition. Rings gain recognition from European textile machinery experts and international mills.
STERLING RING & ITMA Munich
Introduction of the STERLING RING — expanding the Ringmann product range with a new surface-finish grade. The same year, Ringmann exhibits at ITMA Munich with concurrent expansion into Turkey (ITM) and Egypt (ITCE).
STERLING-SIGMA Ring & ITMA Barcelona
The STERLING RING is developed further and relaunched as the STERLING-SIGMA RING — the next step in Ringmann's surface coating evolution. Exhibited at ITMA Barcelona, widening international acceptance across Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
EXCEL Ring — ITMA Milan
The STERLING-SIGMA Ring is further developed and relaunched as the EXCEL RING — featuring hard chrome surface coating as the defining standard. Exhibited at ITMA Milan 2015, the EXCEL Ring gains strong international recognition; export enquiries grow significantly.
SIGMA-EXCEL Launch & ITMA Barcelona
Introduction of SIGMA-EXCEL — Ringmann's highest-performance ring with 1000 HV hardness and Ra 0.10–0.15 μm, designed for very high-speed compact spinning. Exhibited at ITMA Barcelona 2019.
Ringmann Global Private Limited
Ringmann is registered as RGPL — formalising four decades of manufacturing excellence and global ambition into a single corporate identity. Ringmann Inc. (1985) → Ringmann (1995) → RGPL (2025): the same people, the same precision, a global stage.
Precision on Every Spindle
Every RGPL ring begins as an imported 100Cr6 seamless steel tube of special grade — the same material standard used by leading ring manufacturers worldwide. The raw tube is cut, turned, flanged, heat-treated, ground, and surface-coated entirely in-house under strict quality control.
From 1995, all machining has been done on CNC turning centres — a first in India for ring manufacturing. CNC ensures every ring is dimensionally identical: ovality held to 0.06–0.10 mm, flange geometry consistent, and bore finish repeatable across millions of rings.
Heat treatment is handled by S. Sakthivel, B.Tech (Metallurgy), with 37 years of specialised experience — ensuring consistent hardness from 850 HV to 1010 HV depending on grade. Surface coating for our premium grades is managed in Mumbai by B. Murali Mohan, with 44+ years in the rings and travellers industry.
Current output: 30,000 rings per month, supplying mills across India and 50+ countries.
