Product Overview
SIGMA-EXCEL represents the pinnacle of Ringmann Global's four decades of innovation in surface coating technology. All three of our coated ring grades — SIGMA-EXCEL, EXCEL, and BLACK DIAMOND — share the same precision-machined base ring (flanged profile, SPICON design available), but are distinguished by their surface coating. SIGMA-EXCEL carries our most advanced proprietary hard chrome + surface coating: achieving 1000 HV hardness and Ra 0.10–0.15 μm — the finest finish in our coated range.
Developed as India's first surface-coated spinning ring, SIGMA-EXCEL has earned universal acceptance across cotton mills, blended yarn operations, and compact spinning units worldwide. The ultra-low friction finish minimises traveller heat, reduces end-breaks, and extends ring life to 7–12+ years at standard mill speeds — and 4+ years even at maximum compact-frame speeds.
